What I REALLY like about the highlights is that he moves his feet like a soccer player. Very active feet, always staying on balance, and positioning them ahead of what he wants to do. Not constantly getting caught flat footed, especially on inbound passes. This is a great get.

He's in the Top 20 for a whole lot of key stats for CUSA -- in most cases for at least 2 years with many of them 3 years in a row.

This is an experienced, agile big that is going to serve us well.

We would love to sign a 6'11" spectacular prospect, but there aren't many available. I don't think that we've ever had a 5* Big since maybe Greg Dreiling, Antoine (who both were McDonalds AA) or Cliff Levingston. Mostly we've been in the 4* range. Most of the highly ranked big men want to go to a P5 school.

Pohto is not on the team? Talked to someone last Sunday that said he is still practicing with the team. Once you go in the portal does that automatically make you no longer on the team? Unfortunately we don’t get any info from WSU basketball so no idea what is going on with Pohto.

I think that being in the Portal means that you are "looking" for offers. I go back to Paul Mill's initial comments after being introduced. He said that he wanted players who want to be at Wichita State. Obviously, KP is still looking or he would have taken his name out of the portal. However, if he's playing basketball with Wichita State committed players, the door must still be open.

I don't know if Mills is still recruiting Big Men or not (I would think he is), but at some point, if he is, the door may close for KP.

At this point in time - Hakeem Olajawon isn't walking in the door. This is a great get for us IMHO
