Good numbers (including 13 pts and 11 reb against Fla Atlantic in 22 minutes). Having a 5th yr big with that size would be nice.

Seems to be a pretty mobile big man with 'decent' skills. Don't think the Shocks could do much better right now.

Count me "in" for any player that's so big he's named after a country.

He's tall. Is he that big? Not like Big Country. But he does have very good footwork and a nice touch besides being a tall, nice sized, low post player.

Appears to be a lefty when he shoots jumpers but can dribble or shoot close-in with either hand.

                      UTSA was really bad.

Not sure we would have done any better in the Sun Belt than UTSA did this year. Florida Atlantic (final four), UAB, and North Texas. Probably all better than Memphis who beat us twice.

That would have been six losses, plus the random games that were winnable but slipped away. iIRC UTSA was 9-11.

my question is why are we looking for a center unless one of the ones we already have is leaving or they plan
to use Pohto at PF some next year.

Teams that played 2 big did great this year. When the shocks played 2 big they made to the final 4.

Pohto is currently not on the team. So our only center is the one that was injured for the final 20+ games last year.
