It is Kansas and the wind should not be a factor as they play most games indoors.

      Excellent point, Pogo!

Did anyone see The King at the game?

I sat across the aisle from him. He was there with his Mom and Dad. I talked to him and he said he was enjoying his time in Wichita. They seem like a really good family. He is a big man. His Dad is similar in size.

Btw, you didn't have anything to do with our NCAA Tourny sign debacle on Tuesday, did you?
No, we didn't have anything to do with the banner issue. Nor did the young man we provided with signs embarrass us. Instead, it was the fact that WSU confiscated nearly all of the signs we produced and gave to undergrads upon entry to the arena.

Gosh, I was kidding about the banner half falling from the rafters. Never even considered you would have anything to do with it. Sorry if I offended you.

You have provided for the fans and team in the past. I hope you are being treated well.

Before King makes a final decision, he will visit two more schools this week: Missouri on Wednesday and Iowa State on Saturday. “I’m going to take a couple more visits, then talk with my family and pray about it,” King said. “This is a big decision and then after all that, I’ll announce.”

I'm probably the last to realize this, but Taylor clears up the scholarship. We won't have it now, but will for the spring. Pretty much moot as the fall semester ends in a couple of weeks anyway.

The question simply being if Tre will be granted eligibility for the spring by the NCAA. Since it would help him and us and makes perfect sense, I see almost no chance of that happening and won't be holding my breath.

Too bad he didn't get a DIU at a school that cheats their asses off daily, otherwise he could just sit a couple of buy games and everything would be okie dokie.

I like our chances. If he is only on one day visits with Missouri and Iowa St., neither play games on those days. And the NCAA is completely random. I think someone is litteraly flipping a coin for these appeals.

Anyone know (or have the time to find out) the scholarship situation at Missouri and IA State? Do they have a spare to give him next semester?

This guy would literally be plug and play if the NCAA doesn’t block it. Did I really say that?

Everyone with a graduating senior would have one. They can use those scholarships starting in the spring of the year they graduate. At least it used to work that way. Jamar Howard got his scholarship that way.

If I counted right, they both have 12 players on their roster.
