    Nope.

The IBA game has already been determined.

I take it you believe the Tulsa game will be at IBA. Are you for sure?
It's a done deal. It will be apart of the season ticket package as well.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

I'm going to go with this scenario!

Why not, Hoyas haven't released a schedule yet either. :good:

While I'm making baseless predictions I'll say @ WSU this year Dec 7th because travel would be crazy going coast to coast from SDU on Dec 4th.

Now let's see if anything sticks!

      :posterwu:
Georgetown released their schedule....no Shockers

      • Mississippi St. posted this on the 19th. Are we in the same boat?

        • I suspect that when our posting came down, we had a verbal agreement in place with an opponent and now they are just waiting on signed contracts.

          • Why wouldn't we be interested in the Mississippi St. offer? Is travel expense the issue or do you think we already had a better deal arranged? This type of offer seems like it would help with next years scheduling as well, unless Miss. St. had a horrible RPI.

I believe the thinking is we already had an agreement with someone when this offer popped up. It would be a nice deal, but you don't want to start burning bridges by backing out of a deal to take another one.

Thanks Sub. Not tryin to be slow here, just trying to understand the process. I guess all one can hope for is that whatever deal was made is at least comparable.

There is also no guarantee that Mississippi State has any interest in playing us. They may be getting to a desperation point, but a willingness to consider all offers is not the same as a willingness to accept all offers.

                  • I suspect Miss St is looking for a home and away where they can expect to win both ends. Maybe they want two at home in their mention of a 2-for-one. Or perhaps they would take a 2-for-one with 2 on the road against a school wiht more "name" than WSU (Michigan State, for example).

I suspect that listing and many other lists have been examined and evaluated thoroughly by this time.

I really doubt that a couple of SNers cruising the Net are going to find a scheduling opportunity the coaches missed. If there's a school looking and looking at the smae time WSU is looking, there's something preventing that game from happening.

We will never know what that "something" is, so don't even ask. It could be that the two coaches, or maybe even the DoBo's don't like they way the other one negotiates.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
