    Kind of annoying.
Must still be having trouble filling those last non conference games. If that is the problem, get ready to NOT like what we have to settle for.

Or look on the bright side. It just takes longer to put together a better, stronger schedule.

I like your idea better than mine -- but unfortunately I think mine is closer to reality.

            Which is worse:

            A) A repeat of last year's home cupcakes or

B)Being short a game (or 2 or 3) and either not playing or playing D2?

Tough question, but based off of last years cupcakes we're probably better being short a game or two or taking a D2 game that won't count against us and is better competition than some of the cupcakes we had last year...

Give me less games or D-II opponents rather than RPI killers like Alcorn State. The difference in competition between them and, say, Pitt State is negligible. But we can pay Pitt State considerably less and they don't destroy our SOS.

                  This.

One cupcake is fine. But no more.

Oh I'm ready for it but like trop said, let's get it out already. We're always the last ones to release the schedule. Are we really the only ones that have so much issues in the scheduling department?

                      ... No really, deuces.

                        AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I'd rather sacrifice a home game or two than sacrifice a berth into the dance.

Updated at 8:30 a.m. this morning on the Basketball Travelers board ...

Wichita State is seeking multiple home games and can offer a substantial guarantee including lodging plus other incentives. Home dates include Nov.13,14,18 December 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15th. Will also consider 2 for 1,starting in Wichita,KS, neutral site.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

My worry is the powers that be in the AD office are now behind the 8-ball for this year, which will put us even further behind in scheduling for next year. I know basketball isn't like football when they schedule 6-8 years in the future, but how are we looking for next year? What do we have....Tulsa (not sure where) and Utah State?

Next year we're looking at playing at Tulsa, hosting USU and most likely playing UMKC somewhere and an exempt tournament. If they can get a 2-1 or something this year it'd help. But I'm not going to worry about next year until after the coming season.

Something is telling me we still have 4 games to schedule. I hope I'm wrong.
