First, I don't boo our team. However, I was at a game when MT was our coach and the players were playing with no heart. I was sitting in the nose bleed section across from the bench and could hear MT screaming at his team during a time out and the crowd went nuts cheering not booing. The entire place picked up on his passion and got behind the team. IMO, that is how you handle it. BTW...we won that game.
Dear HCGM,
The 1% that you called out on the post-game show last nite were understandibly frustrated by your teams performance against the absolute worst team in the Valley. The same fans were probably cheering wildly when E-vil's player missed the free throw. WSU fans rate with the most passionate fans anywhere. IMO, the best thing to do is coach your team, ignore the 1%, and appreciate the 99% who were not booing.
MOVE ON. This is a bump .... no a pebble in the road that this team is traveling.
