It's no problem. I admit I go through the emotions and can be a very passionate individual during the course of a game. It usually results in a wide variety of posts. I too apologize for any inappropriate name calling.

Again, for the record, I'm glad I was wrong. I'm glad Dillard missed the shot. I would have given my left arm for the miss. I will gladly take all the pounding if it means a Shocker victory.

1)One of the reasons this team is 19-4 is that we have Stutz, Hatch, Murry, Blair, Durley, Kyles, Hannah and Ellis. Some nights you don't have your best game and some nights you do. Murry can be bad and we still can win (something you couldn't say last year). Durley can stink, and we still can win (something you couldn't say last year).

2)Stutz, thoughts?

3)The defense, all night, was very good. SIU is TALENTED but I think it's becoming more and more obvious, poorly coached.

4)The defensive stop at the end was dynamite.....Dillard had an impossible shot and sure he could have made it, but it wasn't all that close and it was all but impossible. Everything else was taken away. Great, great stop.

5)Hatch is so glue. If you don't understand basketball, you don't realize how much Hatch and Ellis mean to this team.

6)Teague and Charmicheal from ISU are going to be beasts for awhile.

7)In the grand scheme of things, this replaces Drake.

8)We have proven we can play crappy and win, on the road. That's a good thing.

9)Thoroughly enjoying the win, happy to admit I was wrong.

10)Bring on UNI.

No matter the "line," this was going to be a hard, hard game for us to win in Carbondump, which is second only to the Qwest center in terms of places we can't normally buy a win.

It's nice to have the talent that can step up with the usual suspects don't. That's what separates this season from previous ones.

Sidenote: Blair is due. I predict a resurgence on Wednesday.

I actually think we match up pretty well with UNI especially if'n we have our head on straight.

Wouldn't surprise me. SIU is also a very athletic team. They just haven't put it all together.

Not typically. I think that was due to Hannah forcing a little more than usual. Booker had 2-3 blocks in pretty quick span.

I feel better about our chances this week now than if we had blown out SIU by 20. There is PLENTY for HCGM to ride them on from this game. No danger of getting complacent.

Tomorrow we find out Bracketbusters, and it should be a good one.

Here's an interesting observation: If I did my math right, if we win out at home and pick up just one more ROAD game, we'd finish no worse than 24-7 (4 home games, 3 Valley road games and the road BB game). The reason that's interesting is that it means we would be assured of finishing the season with single-digit losses.

Not bad for a team picked to finish 5th.
