As much as Stutz's play reminded me of his Iowa game, Durley's play reminded me of his Frosh year.

Gabe wasnt great ...I thought Ellis played some great Defense on Fay....he was a non factor the whole second half.. And thats Aarons job..so I thought hes another starter that did ok

Yes, if Dillard hits the open shot SIU wins, but if Hannah hits the equally open free throw and the one to follow -- and he probably shoots FTs at a higher percentage than Dillard does that particular FG, wouldn't you think, especially considering Paul Suellentrop's note that it was his first missed FT on the road this year? -- it doesn't matter.

If it wasn't for Hatch and Stutz, we don't win this game. Hatch does so many little things that don't show on the box score.

The cuts he made tonight were textbook. He is the reason Clevin somewhat saved a horrid game.

Hatch will be every bit as important next year as Clevin is this year. His leadership will be crucial next year without CH.

We won a road game we were favored in against the 9th place Valley team. Woohoo.

Murry does so many things well when he is on but his defense is on most of the time. That's what makes him so good. Good rebounder, etc.

The ESPN box score shows Garrett with 7 Rebounds - 6 Offensive... HUGE

Stutz would have had a VERY nice assist from the top of the key (in the first half I think) if Gabe wouldn't have botched the layup. I just knew Stutz was going to take that shot, very good court vision.

As far as Hannah and Murry they also had over half of our turnovers. That part was disappointing, but still I suppose 7 turnovers on 12 assists is a positive ratio.....so I'm somewhat pleased.
