The Cleveland St. team that is a lot better than what they showed today. Everybody knows they didn't play their best today.

Yeah and the Shox had NOTHING to do with that.

Sure they did. But not all of it. Cleveland St. just had a bad game, whether or not we helped it out in any way, which we did to a degree. We were the better team today, but they made their share of mistakes and missed their share of shots without our help

            Stop being a dingleberry.

I will officially use this excuse every time WSU plays bad and you better not come at me. If you can make excuses for Cleveland freaking State, then you better not whine when people make lame excuses for us.

You just can't help it, can you?

Just move JT to power forward! :posterwu: 8)
Next season, HCGM moves JTD to the PF. AE goes to the SF. GH becomes a PG just like MB. And then HCGM tells GS and EO you're our C's, so you better start working your ARSE's.
That would be cool, but I don't think so. MAYBE we go with a 2 guard/2 forward line-up some next year. If we do, I'd say it's less than 5 minutes a game.

How does CSU and Iowa compare to the teams/players GS will face in Valley play?

IMO, the competition will be similar. There are some good players in the MVC, but I don't think any other team can hang with us at the 4/5 for a full 40 minutes. Anybody else have a differing opinion?

Your going to have to turn it up a notch. MTXE is making you look like your "fair and balanced". :D

Blair really wants to be a 3. Move those feet fast Gabe and maybe Marshall will put you there so we can see Stutz, Durley and you all in at the same time.

I agree, especially in regards to CSU. The size, athleticism and speed remind me alot of a Valley team.

I pretty much agree with what Fever said in a previous post.

I went on record late last season as saying I was skeptical that Garrett would develop like Miller did because I wasn't seeing him display any instinct. And I stand by that assessment at the time I made it. Without the instinct (aka bball IQ) skills don't really matter much. He has had two very good games in a row now and said after the Iowa game that I have moved from the skeptical camp into the cautiously optimistic camp because I'm starting to see some of that instinct. I am tickled to make that jump.

I will say that Garrett seems to have turned a corner, with a corner or two to go. I still saw some of the things that greatly frustrated many of us with him last year, in the past two games.

But he is clearly showing some aggressiveness and confidence against successive quality opponents.

Royal: What is your opinion of Kyles?
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I think Kyles has all the tools: skills, athleticism, instinct. But for some reason it seems like he has put himself in the back seat and is letting others do the driving (no pun intended).

Kyles is a mystery to me. At Shocker Madness he looked like he was going to be all MVC. Since then it looks as if he has lost his concentration. Perhaps he has trouble playing within a structured setting, or he has some other things affecting his game. Whatever it is, it is disapointing at this point....The irony is that I thought we were very deep at guard but with Kyles underperforming and with KM and DM playing like the freshmen they are, .. we are suddenly rather thin.
