I respectfully disagree MTXE, I agree with you most of the time but in this instance I respectfully disagree. If you search Stutz you'll find several posters who have taken the position he is, essentially, worthless. Is he the next Kareem, I don't think so but several folks were very pointed in their criticisms. By the same token I believe most all of those who are/were critical of Stutz will be very happy to be proven wrong.
Are you talking about Kyles? I'm on the hating on Kyles bandwagon now. I'll be happy to jump off when he pulls his head out. Physically, no way Hatch should be getting his minutes. Clearly Hatch is more prepared, works harder and plays better to earn those minutes.
Before CSU, Stutz was 3rd on the team in points and boards. Unfortunately, his TO numbers are bad.
This makes 2 consecutive good games - and neither of them in CKA. I doubt we're going to see the kind of consistency Stutz has shown in the last 2 games, but that's one heck of a start at being more consistent.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Agreed. David just did not look like he was into the game at all which is very disappointing given his physical abilities.
Oh, I didn't know people were calling him worthless. That is a bit extreme.
I still think he is slow though and has a longgg way to go. He didn't prove much to me against a team that played to about half the potency of Iowa.
His offensive rebounds/putbacks still give me the impression of something more delicate and tender than what would make me comfortable coming from a 7ft 250lb Sophomore center.
Positive observations:
1) I love that his three's are dropping.
2) I love that he was able to have a good day even after it started with an embarrassing turnover in his first moments of the game. That shows moxy!
3) I love that he didn't miss any dunks!
4) I love that he seems to be working as hard as he can.
I promise you that Stutz is THE BEST back-up center in the MVC. He is a very good SOPHOMRE. Being 7 foot tall does not make him good, but because he is 7 foot, he may, someday, be great! He still has much to improve on, but the boy is working to become a man.
