Demetric is just trying to do too much right now. The kid can play. I think he'll be above average at home and make a lot of mistakes on the road.

If he "gets it" and plays under control he'll be a HUGE asset.

Kenny has struggled and is still struggling with his lack of PT, imho. As good as Demetric is, Kenny probably has more upside with his phenominal athleticism. He just needs to keep his chin up, learn from Clevin and bust his tail.

Kyles continues to baffle imho.....he could be great but it seems to me that he plays like he has to defer to Toure....Toure couldn't care less, he just wants to win....I'm not sure DK gets that just yet.

Spot on Doc regarding Kenny. He's a real diamond in the rough, and I would love to have someone like him be our point guard in the years to come.

In my opinion, he has nothing to hang his head about. It's just going to take time, but his whole mentality of pass first, shoot 2nd is great for that position and his time is coming.

He and Demetric should both get some time this week against some of the competition we're playing. A little playing time in front of the home crowd should be a nice way for all of the young players to build some confidence and experience.\\ :wsu_posters:

As for Garrett.... he's coming along in a nice way. I see small improvements in every game he plays. He's going to have bad games--perhaps even more bad than good this year, but I think everyone can see the potential.

I've believed what coach has said about him from the beginning and it's great to see him starting to show us some of those things he predicted.

The bottom line is expectations need to be realistic.

Kyles has the talent to be the best player on the court. He just hasn't found his role yet. He plays much better with the first team than with the the freshman guards. I'd like to see Marshall set up some isolation plays for Kyles and let him drive and dunk or drive and dish. I think that is where he can help this team the most...as a slasher that hits the occasional jumper to keep the D honest. Let Clevin lead the team, Graham hit the threes, and Murry score within the offense. Kyles can straight up challenge the opposition to stop him!

Late in the game, Garrett was all alone for a defensive rebound and he jumped to get the ball. It wasn't a leap, certainly, but his feet left the floor. That to me is a good sign...now if he can jump when some opponent bodies him.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Sometimes I have to laugh. GS had 6 rebounds in 20 min. against CSU and 5 against Iowa. If he's effective, I don't care if he gets the rebound sitting down. As for Kyles, I think that he has the talent to be a lock down defender. His points will come in the future. Sometimes he still forgets to play defense but he improving.

Young girls driving their parent's mini-vans and sitting stationary at a green light (one of the busiest intersections in town) while they text on their phone.

                              Yes, I witnessed this today.
