You all can ban me and not have to deal with it (I really don't have anything against WSU, ran 4 track meets there and loved coach Hayes back in the day), just like KU can not play WSU and not have to deal with it. It's the same thing.

The reality is that KU doesn't really gain much from playing that game, if WSU fans approached the issue with that reality in mind I bet it would eventually get done as it is now there is no reason for KU to do it.
Who exaclty is being small and petty?

I called KU "puddies" b/c that is exactly what you are if you won't play WSU b/c you didn't get a shower. (which still hasn't been confirmed)

Maybe you need to reread the posts above my post.

I really don't care if KU plays WSU. But please quit with the lame excuses.

I truly wish I could have attended KU back in the day, rather than WSU.

Unfortunately, when I went to apply I learned that KU was a good $7 more per credit hour, and required the exact same GPA and ACT score to get in. Clearly, those conditions outpaced my means and abilities, as well as most of my fellow WSU students, so I had to "settle" on WSU. After graduation, I then had to "settle" on working for one of the most high-profile firms in the midwest, along with boatloads of other fellow WSU alum losers. My boss, his boss, and many of the top brass are also WSU business and engineering "leftovers". It's amazing we posses enough IQ points to get anything done.

Some days I wish I could have fulfilled my dreams of an education at the Harvard of the midwest- complete with working in a coffee shop as an "internship", owning a closet full of Birkenstock's, applying beeswax to my white-man dreads, seeing how long I could go without a bath, and protesting the infringement of the habitat and mating habits of the western blue-hair dung beetle- but alas I did survive in the sea of WSU melancholy.

When I get back to my non-Johnson County, non-ARM-financed home tonight I may just have to cry into the arms of my fellow WSU alum wifey. I'll take some solace in my plight when I look at my investment portfolio, the equity in my home, or the non-leased internal-combustion machinery in my garage, and realize it might have not been possible as a KU grad and the accompanying Starbuck's barista, or Greenpeace activist career.

What might my life be like if I were a KU alum and fan? The most obvious advantage, that I could think of, would be the ability to drop a load without peeling off the wallpaper in the next room. That'd be fantastic-o! Also, sporting 3 popped collars while being automatically uber-cool and smug, all at the same time, would complete my life experience.

      Oh well...

Holy crap that was funny Bobby.

          Question for the KU apologist(s):

Why do you search out other mid-major schools to mercilessly beat upon, like ORU :D , BUT why are there never any MVC schools involved in those requests for beatings?

You figure that ORU is such a yearly blowout game that MVC schools must be so much less of a challenge that it's totally pointless to schedule them?

Say it ain't so! I smell fear.

Jesus, you people are delusional. We are so insignificant on the national scale right now it's not even funny. We're on a four game losing streak against conference teams and you turds are whining about playing KU?
Why should they play us right now? What in the world can we offer them? Hell, we should be AVOIDING games against both KU and K-State, at least until we stop sucking so hard. This thread is prime example of why I hate this board. Too many freaking retards post here.

Definitely a classic worthy of HOF posts right there! Excellent...

KU fan...come on OUR board and play by the rules and quit whining! Oh, that's right, playing by the rules doesn't appear to be a part of the Lowrents way.

Based on your post I think we're all much better off that you do hate this board.

What? This entire thread is embarrassing. Hell, I'm embarrassed for even posting here because now my good name is associated with this abortion you call a thread. Jesus, we suck people. Just shut the hell up about KU or KSU or really any other decent team in the country because they would kick the **** out of us. Now go back to sticking your head in sand and posting ridiculous **** like KU won't play us because they're scared. Yeah, they're probably scared of coming to Wichita alright, but it's not the bball team that scares them. It's probably the random stabbings at gas stations in the broad daylight or the Carr brothers or BTK or etc etc. God I'm so glad I moved.

Please direct your banishment woes at me, who brought it up. I have no control over who gets banned and who doesn't, but the rules clearly state that fans of other schools need to be respectful. I think it's a fair rule. I'm was just warning you, since you're new here. I admit that, selfishly, if a representative of my university (KU) comes on here and disrespects my WSU friends, it reflects poorly on me, as a KU alum, and I don't like that. Be respectful when you post, please, as the other pro-KU folks have done, and you won't hear another word of it from me. Sometimes anti-KU stuff gets on my nerves, too. Shocking. It's a WSU board.

Now, back on the topic at hand ...

                            • To our friends from phag.net: your obsession with "insignificant" WSU has been noted via an entire thread, dedicated to this thread, on your home board (we can feel the warm fuzzies from here, thanks sweeties).

So when you are finished slobbering over yourselves in this thread, please see below for your ride back home. As they say, like attracts like.

To my friends who may not "get" the above pic, please see the issue of "smug" addressed prevalently in the following episode of South Park.

While the creators of South Park did in fact attend school in Boulder, they are more than familiar with KU, so you could logically deduce the episode is heavily based off of Lawrence, it's residents, KU, it's alums, or all of the above. Unfortunately, if you see someone with their heads between their legs in Lawrence, you can't automatically assume they are enjoying the fragrance of their flatus, so KU smugness can be confused with... ahem, other things.
