Got any pix of Miller in his true Fr year? Comparing a 5th-year Sr to a true Fr isn't quite apples-to-apples.
Stutz has dribbled from half-court to a stuff twice this season. Both times he beat the guy guarding him down the court. Once he beat the guy guarding him while dribbling left-handed.
Stutz doesn't look fast, but watch him going down court in tranition. Stutz gets to the opposite FT line in about the same time Bradley got to half court.
Don't I remember Cold being one of Miller's worst critics until about half-way through Miller's Sr season? I think I recall "soft", "Fifi", "no hands", "couldn't defend a lamp post" and other insulting remarks that we're seeing Cold dig out for the next generation of WSU players. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

David King was never going to work for us but he was 3 times the athlete Ryan was and maybe even more so than Stutz. Yes, I know that David missed a dunk in his very limited gametime minutes, but he also got a couple really nice blocks! He was quite explosive in several summer scrimmages I witnessed. He also didn't have those "tree-trunk" legs. I believe RDR likes his "skinny-legged" jumpers as well..
He also could be suffering from the freshman blues and it is carrying over to his game. Depression will zap the strength right out of a person really really quickly. Cortisol is a muscle's #1 enemy and its production ramps up during periods of stress and/or anxiety (depression).
No, I wasn't Miller's worst critic. But I know a couple brothers who were.. :D I often complained about his softness but didn't author the term FiFi or use it extensively. Miller would have been SO much better if he would have developed a mean streak (while he was at WSU). He has one now but that won't help us. He was doing terrible things to our players this most recent summer.

This might have been a picture from Paul's sophomore year. He was always well-proportioned. He never came in "chubby" or looked soft physically.
I've worked out with white boys who just weren't strong or couldn't put on muscle. It's not that uncommon. It's all in the genetics. Those with the best get 5-star ratings. Stutz came with some nice skills but I think he might have gotten gypped in the genetics part of the equation. To borrow a phrase from a few of our "realists" around here... "I hope I'm wrong".

Not all of ShockerNet was stoked about Crawford. I know I was NEVER really high on the kid. I'm not sure where his ranking came from as I'd never heard positive reports from those who'd seen the kid play. I think Cold was so excited about the kid that he just assumes everyone else must have been as well. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one that questioned him...Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
RIP Guy Always A Shocker
Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

Seriously...I remember Danny Moore..The center for SW MO St a few years back....Garrett reminds me more of him than Paul Miller as far as body type...Whether he will develop into that caliber of player (Moore was a dominant player his senior year) or wilts into a Ryan Bradley is still up in the air.......He could be somewhere in between...I think he will at the least be a very effective player for us in the next few years

We SERIOUSLY need to stop the Ryan Bradley comparisons right now. I like Ryan and he's a great kid, but please let's stop.
