  • Best Game at the Chuck

Since the remodel, what is the best game played in Charles Koch Arena?

The Creighton game where Matt hit the winning 3 pointer.
    The UAB game.

FSU in the NIT is pretty hard to beat, but CU game was clutch too! All that said FSU was the loudest I 've heard the Chuck! :posterwsu:

I have to agree the FSU game was the loudest, and it was a good game except for the last 12 seconds.

Why we didn't foul before the halfway line, I will never know.

I liked the Creighton game too, bu I'd just as soon be far enough ahead that it didn't come down to that.

Florida State - hands down. It's not even close.

We get Creighton at KOCH every year, and while it is fun to beat them, even on a last second shot, nothing will come close to that FSU game. Everyone that wanted to be at the FSU game was at the game, and it was nothing like the regular home crowd we usually get.

The Creighton game was similar to Jason Perez hitting a running 3 pointer to beat (SIU I think it was) and then running out the tunnel like he meant to do that. It's great and all, but that FSU game was sport-drama. Probably one of the last times we see an ACC team in Wichita.

LET IT BE KNOWNST, FROM THIS POINT FORWARD!!!!

I expected to see the CU game and the FSU game. I was happy to see the SIU game mentioned.....that game was as physical a game as I ever remember....that was a war.

I am a little dissappointed that nobody has mentioned the George Mason game.

I think you should checkout Mr. Peabody's Wayback machine to fully grasp how big, important, well played and the quality of the teams involved.

Not to mention that the game meant a lot to both teams. I realize we lost but....that was a Final Four team that would go on to beat Carolina and Uconn in about 3 weeks. There were some big plays made down the stretch in that game as well.

The Bradley game when P.J. blocked O'Bryant's shot right at the end of the game.

I will throw out a game that lacked much excitement on the court, but the crowd was buzzing throughout.... Vs. Ill St to clinch the MVC Championship in 2006.

My vote goes for the Matty B 3 vs. Creighton.

I don't remember what year it was, and although it ended up as a loss, I always remember the year we played SIU here and got down very early. We were pretty much getting humiliated, but we started coming back a little bit before halftime and after halftime kept the run going and eventually tied it up, however we came up just a bit short in the end, but the team showed a lot of heart. I believe that was at Koch, does anyone remember the game I'm talking about?

Somewhat... we were down to SIU something like 26 points in the first half and made an incredible run to tie the game late in the second half. The crowd and team ran out of gas down the stretch. My best guess would be the 2003-2004 season. We were very close to blowing the roof off of Koch that night.
                              SFL is back!
