The possibility of him not being eligible next year either indicates a juco placement is possible. If he enrolls in a juco without being eligible for D-1, he must have an AA degree before he is eligible to transfer.

I think many of us heard about a month ago that it was likely EO would not play this season. But since it was a rumor it wasn't posted.

By reading between the lines, I'm surmising that whatever hope there may have been that he would be cleared this season is now gone.

Everything that people have said on this thread points toward EO not being cleared by the NCAA Clearing House, thus him having to go the Junior College route. He is not ineligible to ever play for Wichita State, but it will be at least two years until he would be eligible. With everything that people have said about EO this summer, chances are that many big fish will be after him after they get a chance to see him play over the next two seasons. We can only hope that EO is as loyal to WSU as the university and coaches were to him.
