Yes. Didn't quite make the visitor's bench. Guy was escorted out and lost his season tickets.

That would make for a much better rule. You throw something (anything) you lose your season tickets. We're going to end up with hundreds of bottles of spilled pop this season and a lot of unhappy folks.

Dr. Pepper is still available. It isn’t owned by either company but has distribution agreements with both.

Those sitting near him very demonstratively pointed him out, making him take a walk of shame in front of the entire arena.

Unless that changed .. pretty sure i had a Dr. Pepper at CKA. It's independent of the two big brands

Yes, it's available in the Fountain Drinks but not in the bottles. I prefer Diet Dr. Pepper over Diet Pepsi but, if I get drink, I get the Diet Pepsi or Aquafina in the bottle. I simply don't like dealing with the Fountain Drinks because they are too easily spilled and I really prefer not to cause any inconvenience or mess for myself or to my fellow Shocker fans around me at games. So I will either just do without or sneak a cap in if I feel the need for a drink. That said it's not the end of the world one way or the other and won't really have much, if any, impact on my enjoyment of Shocker games. May save me a few bucks.

And as I recall when stuff was thrown on the floor it was coins. Ooops, shouldn't have said that... they will probably ban those from the arena when they figure out people can throw those too. This no lids rule is ridiculous.

Still the funniest thing I’ve seen in Koch Arena (actually Levitt back then) was the guy who hurled a ‘loaded’ hot dog toward the visitors bench; the weinie traveled much farther than the aluminum foil and bun. I believe that incident was the original “Weinergate” until Anthony came along.

I miss @ShockerFever:'s annual tirade against the athletic department in this thread.

Are we not doing a good enough job here? I guess nobody's mother has been insulted yet, so we are kind of lagging.

I think most of this has been at policies that aren't actually within the AD's control.

So, conferences are making critical decisions like lids on/off water bottles. Next it will be in the hands of congress and we will hear terms like "lid-control."
