I'm not a moderator, but only one of those individuals has routinely thrown around vulgar insults to members and visiting members from other teams alike for simply holding opposing views to their own. The other has not, and just has some opinions which do not happen to fit the ShockerNet zeitgeist (even though I think those opinions are wrong).

EDIT: to correct any misconceptions that this board "got rid of" Fever.

Don't know why I am bothering to respond to your post Kel, but as always (IMO) you miss the essential point regards Fever and mini.

Fever is a passionate Shocker fan and often went beyond the pale in his posts.

mini is nothing more than a troll, he is clearly IMO not a fan of the Shockers!

Whether or not someone goes beyond the pale and consistently treats others disrespectfully on this board is a much bigger deal to me than someone who may be slightly annoying and not a Shocker fan, but is not personally vindictive towards anyone.

In some states, it is illegal to wrap a two armed bar lock on an opponent in the game of basketball without even touching the rock, and normally a foul would be called. Could this be a modern day optical illusion where an alternating possession ensues instead? No worries. The game outcome was only at stake. YIKES!!!!!!! After the mugging and face rearrangement Bake already received from #44 that was called a double foul, (What?, Really?, No Way), I'm doubting that Baker the Maker gets strong armed quite like that even up in the Bigs? If so, he at least gets paid for his efforts. With all of that, our Shocks were still good enough to have won that Championship game that was a semifinal game. What a Season to be proud of!!!!!!!

Here is a solid team of starters. Hall, Cle, Bake, Armstud, and Cotton with silky, smooth Fred coming off the bench. What a formidable team!!!!!!! My question is as follows. Is this Season's squad from 1-12 as good? (This is a black and yellow consideration and has nothing to do with wishful redbirds.) If so, than the glittering rankings could be possible? First we have to make the Dance. Then, we hope for a better (just give us a fair) seeding. Then, how tough is the bracket looking in terms of who's hot and who is not? Then, let's hope we get a few breaks along the way because the team we had versus Louisville went far beyond most expectations except for Doc and a few eternal Shocker Optimists!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, here it is June, and I have Shocker Hoops heavy on my mind and on SN, I am NOT alone!!!!!!!!!!!

I get your point. mini-hawk I think is a troll. He hasn't done anything yet to get banned IMO. @Kel Varnsen: has a good point also. Fever has been disrespectful to both regulars an trolls for a long time. Having said that I wish a laidback Fever would come back and mini-hawk will fly away for good. My guess is he would be home after about 168 miles northeast of here.

IMO both of your points are correct regards Fever and mini. Fever's highly enthusiastic posts could be difficult to take at times (had more than one dust-up with him myself) but he was always first and foremost a loyal shocker fan. How anyone posting on SN would prefer a troll posting over a loyal shocker fan is beyond my comprehension.

I guess the facts don't matter to the NCAA and others on this forum. The fact still remains that none of the women, or the former director of basketball operations has been charged for anything. Not rape. Not prostitution. Unless you guys know something I don't.

It was not disagreements of position that @ShockerFever:, @shock:, Cold, and most members of this board had, but how you treat people. I'm not just talking about being over zealous with trolls who may not had crossed "the ban line" yet, but name-calling of members here and those who put their time into running this board. There is no call or need for it and one can show their strong disagreement without it.

I like Fev and Cold. Cold sometimes went farther than needed. Fev was the same, but he did over-board attacks repeatedly on certain WSU posters/fans. Discussion/debating of opinions is encouraged, personal attacks should not be.

Both are good posters and ardent WSU supporters. Fev should have (or could!) post a lot more. He didn't do enough of it. I wish Fev and Shock would both come back. Same goes for Cold. I'm guessing if approached, the Mods would be OK with it. I still couldn't believe Sub left. It must have been a much more troubling situation than I thought it was at the time he left. I just didn't see it.

I go over to Wheatshockers to check-in on the discussions there on occasion. It has gotten seriously quiet. Too bad for those there who love discussing everything Shockers.

not sure the point of this post. why are you trying to apply louisville's situation to WSU? can we apply these same questions to bill self and KU?

as for the second question, all 3 of the first group would have either been hired by the coach or most likely hired with strong input from Marshal.

as for there being no charges of prostitution and what-not, the ncaa doesnt need charges to be brought for them to take action. and you probably already knew this before you made this idiotic post which is not adding to the discussion at hand.
