Well that is great that they don't have to refinish the whole thing. I wonder how many layers of urethane or whatever finish it is that they put down. And are the lines/logos painted on bare wood or is there a layer above the wood that all of this is put on so they don't have to go to bare wood to remove them. I'm only curious.:)

We'll see how excited Shocker fans are to see the new floor and the new lighting in person when they get their first chance to cheer on the Shocks at Koch Arena on Friday, September 15th when the Lady Shocker Volleyball team hosts Creighton, who is currently ranked #7 nationally.Last edited by 1972Shocker; August 30, 2017, 11:07 PM.

This match just has so much going for it. It's a highly-ranked Creighton team, it's a home opener, it's our first home opener as a member of the AAC, a chance to check out the new lighting, new floor, and the new banners. Even without any that it's alway fun, at least for me it is, to watch Shocker Volleyball.
The Shockers all-time volleyball attendance record is 6,122 against Missouri State on November 2, 2007. That should be in play although that will be tough to beat.Last edited by 1972Shocker; August 30, 2017, 02:26 PM.
