Yes, I like the idea of a new Coach on our Staff that has experienced back to back National Championships. Mr. Jones is also known as quite the recruiter with ties in areas and places that will open new doors for the Shocker Program. Coach Marshall also likes to recruit players that are potential starters on our squad. Likewise, Donnie Jones will someday be another Assistant in our Program that will get a Head Coaching gig some fine day which is now common for the Coaches that Coach Marshall brings in here.. Players like and respect Coach Jones and learn how to ramp up their game from him, and these are qualities that result in more wins for WSU.

One epic reason Coach Marshall is so successful is that he surrounds himself with top quality Assistant Coaches that are winners and bring various strengths to our Program. Donnie Jones was a great hire IMO.

Will be just like any assistant coach...heavily involved.

Yes. Okon, Smith, and Grad Assistants plan the camp, and run the camp. The recruiting Assistants help bring in players they are recruiting (to attend), usually from the Midwest region. Then it is all hands on deck to help coach the youngsters who attend.
