Donate it under the stipulation NO FOOTBALL.

Start planning on where and how big you name will be displayed on the new football complex.

Forget WSU I have one word for you. Hookers and blow

I would like my name at mid field.
#2 in a heartbeat, however I would donate the money in the name (names) of those who died on October 2, 1970. I still don't believe we've done enough to properly honor those people.

The only listing I could track down was that David was listed as 7'1' while playing in the NBA. Could not find anything about how tall he was when he joined the Naval Academy.

Obviously, height and weight restrictions do play havoc with the Service Academies abilities to compete proficiently against Div 1 schools in many sports, and who knows, the old tape measure may have been frayed mighty badly near the top.

If I recall correctly David Robinson was right at the Navy's maximum height when he entered. He continued to grow while at the Naval Academy and was given the option of remaining or leaving and opted to stay in the Navy.

I would donate with the stipulation that a chunk of the money would be used to start Shocker Hockey. Frozen Four here we come!

David Robinson entered the Naval Academy at 6'8", 2" over the maximum at that time. He received a waiver and the max has since been increased to 80". Little did they know he would grow another 5"........ or did they?

I miss football, always wanted football, and I hope that it comes back someday. I know the chances are slim, and I know it wouldn't work right now, but maybe someday. I had a lot of fun at Cessna in the 70's and 80's; I suppose that clouds my judgement!

Has anyone talked about the effects of Title IX on the possibility of bringing back football?

It would take a whole lot more than women's soccer. Football is way more scholarships than any other sport.

Women's soccer, rowing, field hockey; maybe cut men's tennis.

                            Women's soccer(14) + women's lacrosse (12) + women's rowing (20) = 46 scholarships
                            FBS football = 85 scholarships

We could be in compliance with just those, if we already have an overage prior to football. Scholarships don't have to be equivalent, but should be pretty close.

Yeah, field hockey would be another good one.
