People mention the discount store t-shirt fans. It's the State of Kansas t-shirt fans age 0 to 18 that WSU/KU/K-State are fighting for. And just 50 high school seniors are worth about $1,000,000 a year. If branding money wasn't involved (like it isn't for all the other sports) we would play.
But, marketing/money *is* important, so we will not play each other until that changes.
