I hate KU a lot less since we played them when it counted and beat them. Roy has moved on. We had the likely last word in the series. I still hope they lose every game they play and all, I just don't think about it as much.
Oh and mini-shock is a KU troll.Wichita State, home of the All-Americans.

Either way, I'm not a fan Quantrill's Raiders, I was just trying to convey my dislike for Lawrence but could have done it a better way. It was stupid. If I've caused offense to you or anybody else, my sincerest apologies for this and getting off topic.

Supporting WSU should be free of comparing itself to KU. You waste class time and student tuition on force feeding anti-KU, pro WSU fandom rhetoric. I'm sure your harassment of your GTA is all in good fun, but your confidence in belittling him is stupid. The little brother attitude WSU > KU is stupid.
Advocating for student involvement in on-campus activities does not equate to pro WSU “rhetoric”. I speak about the importance of student involvement because I understand how it is tied to student success. Student involvement is so important in fact, that the administration asks all faculty and staff to actively encourage it. The reason for this is that when students are engaged in on-campus activities, grades tend to be higher, overall student satisfaction is higher, and students are more likely to complete their degree. All things which benefit WSU.
Now with regard to my opinions on all things ku. Understand that in a classroom, especially one with a large number of students, there tends to be a wall that divides students from teacher. This wall can create an impersonal experience in the classroom which can in turn negatively impact a student’s performance. This can be for a number of reasons including fear of being judged by a large group of peers, or just not seeing the teacher as an approachable person (and you seem to be a very literal person so it’s important here that you understand that this wall is metaphorical, that is, there is not a physical barrier in the classroom). So if I can use my hatred of ku to create some levity in the classroom, to use something as insignificant as a school ‘rivalry’ to break down that wall and make myself more approachable to the student, I will because It humanizes me. As far as this extends to my GTA, you are unaware of nor have you observed our dynamic. So to accuse me of belittling him is reaching, to say the least. I would volunteer to facilitate a conversation between the two of you so that you may verify that he is not being belittled, however I think this to be a bad idea for fear that he would walk away being stupider from the encounter.
So if at the end of the day, if at the end of the semester, my students leave the classroom having learned, then neither their time nor their tuition was wasted. Therefore, and to use your words, I will continue to be petty, I will continue to be stupid, and I will continue to exhibit low confidence.
Hopefully I have cleared some things up for you. But if you still think that something just isn’t right and you’re still offended, well, get over it snowflake. That rug really tied the room together.

I thought your comments were about basketball, which is all I care about. I find you dissing KU basketball to connect with WSU to be pathetic, but the connection is obviously more important than basketball. Regarding the comments about your GTA, I had said I'm sure it was in good fun, but I find it stupid. I still do. You are the annoying staff that disses KU all the time. We can agree it's stupid.
