If he has an agent; hopefully the agent is repping him to those P5 schools that need a coach. He may never have a better chance to move up if that is what he wants.

Maybe THAT'S what he was thinking about with all those blank stares.

According to Hull (I think) on Kennedy pre-game show he threw out the rumor that he had heard that Muller is looking to leave ISUR and find a school that is willing to invest in basketball.

I agree. It's pretty well known that around the MVC, Marshall is considered a huge asshole. I think there is less animosity towards our players though. I think people around here could cool it a little with all the thug talk and stuff. There is a lot of racial connotation with words like that, which isn't really necessary. The T's that the ISU players got was for bitching at the refs, not really for dirty play. (The techs for Hawkins and Willis were ridiculous) We should be glad there was at least one other decent team in the Valley this year. I don't understand where all this hatred for them comes from. They play a tough style that reflects their coach, just like us. Personally I respect that a lot more than the rest of these "nice" doormats in the Valley that drive down our RPI every time we play them.
I think that deep down, what people around here hate about ISU and UNI last year, is that they have the audacity to try to take what we think is rightfully ours.

Hope ISU gets in the dance and goes ThugTard on some p5ers

I don't really have a problem with Muller. He's kinda blah, but at least he brings a competitive team to the conference. There are and have been some serious attitude problems in Normal, but there are also several kids that seem to be model citizens. Not a fan of ISU, but hope they get in.

Also, @stickboy, please quit going to opponents fans message boards after we wreck them and telling them how wrong they are. They're in no mood, won't listen, and it only pushes them away from seeing the truth...that they are damned lucky that WSU is Big Brother!

When they beat another stellar ~200 RPI conference mate, THEN you can go on and on about how awesome they are and how you hope they can accomplish what WSU has done, and how freshman X reminds you of their last All-Conference player. Then, and only then can you correct them on their WSU misgivings.

This is actually correct. It's just bad form.

And that's the problem. Their message board has an extremely large amount of trash on it. They won a few games and the garbage really started to stink. As you mentioned, the 41-point thrashing perfumed things up a little bit with the 20-point pounding with everybody "healthy" really cleaned the place up.

I just keep thinking if it's this bad for a program that still hasn't danced in 20 years, how bad is it gonna be if they actually become relevant?

I've just seen too much from the Redturd trash pile, both in person and on the interwebs, to make me feel too much sympathy for that bunch.

Additionally, the proximity also makes it likely that a lot of ISU alum live in St. Louis, which is a marginal step up from Normal.
Just one time have the thing in KC. It would be embarrassing for the Valley.

In all seriousness, i don't go and gloat on other teams boards after games. I actually try to avoid that. I'll smack talk before games though. I called out Brown on the Bradley board for his dirty play, but that's not gloating.

I think Creighton felt the same way about us '86-'06.

The ONLY reason to go to an opponent's message board - especially an opponent where there is some "conflict" - is to wish them well and congratulate them after a good performance or a good season.

That's how I expect visitors from opponents to act when they come here. Trash talk before or after games just leads to retaliation and then both teams' boards get a little ugly.
