There is no potential as a broadcaster, but his ability to shoot, especially from the corner, was magic.

It's been contagious all season. Can't seem to shake it :bball_spin:

I thought Aubrey relaxed a bit and was decent down the stretch.

When he was relaxed he did fine. But he struggled for sure. He has earned my patience.

He stood out, by far, even then. Chris Mullin was pretty impressive too.
Didn't Patrick Ewing play as well? There were other really good college players, at a minimum. My memory will fail me (I was a kid but at the game)

Bill Wennington, St Johns. Milt Wagner, Louisville. Ed Pinkney, Villanova. Stuart Grey, UCLA. Anthony Jones, UNLV.

                      Greg Dreiling, *****.

                        Yes.

He kept his head up. :good:

Seriously, I loved listening to Aubrey. He's a shade older than I am, but I love what he's done and I LOVED how Gregg asked Shane how he did after the game.

                          Patrick was there but hurt.

Mullin actually stunk and I considered him highly overrated. Guess I missed that by a zillion miles

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Patrick was there in street clothes on the bench. If I remember correctly that was the first year it had been decided that a high-schooler could only participate in 2 (not more) all-star games. I think he had already participated in the Capital Classic and the Dapper Dan (in Philly)? Dreiling was another player who underwhelmed.
