I'm glad you enjoyed the experience, but I would caution, because this weekend, while a good solid A for the team, was probably a B- at best for the crowd. We can and will do better.

And frankly, there's little better than welcoming friends and family (one or the other here I'd bet) into Shocker Nation and hearing they love the experience. Makes me feel good inside.

No problem. I"m from the East Coast and have been to some pretty good bball environments such as Duke, Cuse, even mid major such as Dayton, VCU that love there teams as well. I felt Shocker fans bring that same "love" for there team. It's pretty hard for the crowd to be A+++ when you win both games by 40. I now understand why most school will not come here to play. Lol... Good luck with the rest of the season. Great fans, Great Coaching, Developing Young talent that really defends and is playing well together.

You can see why Reaves scored so much in high school. If he was on a team where he was the star player, I think he'd average at least 20-25 points a game.

We need to send a thank you card this week to the Arkansas teams for not understanding just how good Mr. Reaves already is. Shamet did indeed look like a top 100 Freshman today and CJ is a keeper as well. How many teams have 3 Frosh. with the promise of these fine young Shocker players.

I'm looking at these three like I looked at FVV, RB, and Cotton. Those are big shoes to fill but these guys are off to a great start.

Keyser is oozing with talent - his injuries have put him a little behind the curve. There is no doubt in my mind that he will catch up and be a total stud.

Mrs Mo and I were watching the game yesterday and could not be more excited about the next 4 seasons.

It's good to see Keyser getting his PT at SF. There's visibility for significant PT there. The primary guys at PG and SG seem to be pretty well nailed down for his career.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Arkansas will be getting a Christmas Card from me for their decision to recruit anyone but Mr. Reaves. We are proud to have him and it is partly due to their incompetence. I chose to think it would have been a waste of time for Arkansas because he would have picked to play for the monster that is Shocker Nation

reaves could almost be first team all-valley this year, if he had the on-court time. he's much better than flaky (but ultimately successful) odum was as a freshman, it seems to me already. what did small-town larry bird avg scoring his first year at insu (after transferring away from indiana/bob knight as a freshman- interesting to note that bird would have been a freshman on that '76 undefeated iu team.. wow! he would have looked like reaves on that team- but 6'9")?

keyser is going to be invaluable for this team once he settles in. many alley-oops, on the way. shades of michigan state 1979.

This team could be Phi Slamma Jamma, Ome-god Chapter.

All along we knew Austin would score. However, his accurate and precise passing has been a treat too. He is also getting in passing lanes and causing havoc with our foes with steals. It was also great to see #11 hit a nice game and hope these three will give us a nice boost at our Tourney this week. Not bad for a group of Frosh. Not bad at all. Just think, the old adage says " the best thing about Freshmen is they become Sophs. This is great for us but not for our foes.

Maybe at the dunk competition next Season, he will jump over R.N. and finish the dunk with an exclamation point!!!!!!!!!!! Before that happens though, there will be a high rebound up for grabs and out of nowhere CJ will do a thunder dunk that will be felt at doughnut shops all over town.

his time is coming. he's a little bit behind because of injuries.. but the sky-dunk is the limit.. kiss the baby.. very shortly. i can't wait to see the shockers round into full form, whenever that may be.
