          • Indiana State was down 39-49 with about 12:30 remaining in the game. With about 3:30 remaining the Sycamores were up 64-56 after a very nice 25-7 run over that 9 minute interval.

At 66-64 Indiana State's Brenton Scott was fouled with 7.7 seconds remaining. He missed the 1st, made the 2nd to put INS up 67-64. Indiana had only 5 fouls at that point. They fouled with about 4.3 seconds left to give EIU the ball out of bounds. They fouled again at 2.2 seconds to give EIU a 1-and-1 opportunity.

EIU hit the 1st, missed the second on purpose and got the tip-in to tie the game at 67-all and send it to overtime.

            • Not watching game but it looks like Indiana State was up 3 with about 3 seconds left fouled on purpose to sent them to the line and they made 1st missed the 2nd and tipped it in to tie the game.

                • I haven't watched the whole game or checked the box score, but from what I've seen, InSU doesn't rebound well.

                  • With 9 seconds left and InSU up by 2, InSU turned it over on EIU's end of the court on an inbounds play. With 2 seconds left EIU's PG went up decided not to shoot, looked for the guy he wanted to pass to, and landed on the court still holding the ball.

                    • With 8 seconds left in OT2 INS kicked the inbounds pass out of bounds giving EIU one last chance at 87-85. EIU returned the Christmas generosity with a travel as described by @Aargh: with 1.3 seconds left.

Indiana State hangs on for an 88-85 double OT win.

Coach K is apparently okay with this behavior. Unbelievable.

But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'
