They aren't wrong .. and aren't right. The only thing that matters is whatever ranking says that Team A should be in whenever the selection committee wants Team A in.

I think you are right. If we beat Loyola and Illinois State this week, we will start finally gaining traction again. I would guess that our RPI would jump quite a bit wth a win on the road at Illinois State.

Whoa. 20 votes is hands down the lowest vote total for #25 I can remember (and it is not even close), especially in the AP Poll. That is a mindblowing number.

On one hand, we are T-36 and only received 2 votes. On the other, we are only 18 votes out of 25th. The cliff-drop after 24th is just epic.

USC is #25 in that one with 30 votes.

While I can sympathize with the historical aspect of bemoaning this, I'm not going to complain about our current situation. Our schedule has turned into some sort of steaming pile of dog poo, and we blew it in the only games we had to make a case for ourselves. It's tough ****, and it may not fairly indicate how good we may be, but I don't think there's much to complain about at this point.
