Will be interesting to see the breakdown - I'm curious whether a single voter like Feinstein slotted us ~20th to account for most of our points or if a myriad of voters placed us in the ~24-25 range.
Doesn't matter much though since poll mechanics always favor visibility when building the bandwagon to break into the rankings.

My prediction is that northern Iowa will play spoiler this week for the red birds. Northern Iowa is back to winning and they absolutely can win on Wednesday. Wednesday is a huge game for the Panthers and they will be feisty. The red birds better be careful or they might be about to hit a two game losing streak

Let the saltiness begin
"They are nowhere near a top 25 team, us beating them by 15 says all you need to know.. their
SOS is garbage.. but good for them. I am sure those 8 votes make up for living in Kansas and going to an academic cellar dweller.."

I will concede that UNI has found their ability to muck up the game and keep it mostly in the 50s, which is what they have to do to be even a decent team. But it's not as if they've suddenly found their 2010 stride or something. They'll get an awakening Wednesday, I promise you.
Back to ISU. ISU is good. Really good. They're old and physically talented and have a feeling of urgency. If our players or frankly our fans, assume that getting them into CKA is all that needs to be done to win, we're also in for a serious awakening this weekend.

The school with 70% less academic research funding, an endowment 60% smaller, all the while having the inherent advantages that come with 30% more students on campus?
Okie-dokie then, I guess.Last edited by SHOCKvalue; January 30, 2017, 01:35 PM.
