Well, the All-Stars do not have scholarships as they are just a team thrown together for the summer. The other three teams would all have similar scholarship levels since the CIS controls these levels for all schools.

            • 1. Great to listen to a game even though so lopsided
              2. Don't think anyone, including myself, can take away anything from it too much
              3. I said CF WILL start and he did
              4. Tomorrow should be much more telling
              5. I was very optimistic about our team before today and still am
              6. What depth we are going to have and MM didn't even suit up

Thanks. I think I understand. So would I be right to say that most Canadian top athletes would probably go to the US to play Div. 1. Most other Canadian basketball players would most likely attend a CIS school? I noticed that Kaza Keane is one of the top Players in Canada. (Of recent ISU Red fame).

Correct. There are now more than 100 Canadians playing NCAA Division 1 basketball. A lot of those players are pursuing pipe dreams. NCAA Canadian players can return to Canada and transfer directly into a CIS school without sitting out a year. Kaza Keane is an example of that process. He played three years of Division 1 basketball and returned last year to play for Carleton. Since there are five years of playing time allowed in the CIS, he returned with two years of eligibility. He will be playing tomorrow for Carleton.
