To be fair, half the posts are of the "wow, I was wrong about Fred" variety, which is a lot more palatable than just flip flopping.

I didn't know reddit was a place for accountability. I must have been confused with twitter. LOL

    • Another great game for Fred tonight. Played down the stretch.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Again leads team in +/- at +9. 5-9 FG and 11 points; 6 assists; no turnovers in 24 minutes. Let’s not forget the 4 rebounds

        • From the Toronto Sun’s account of Friday night’s game:

“VanVleet in particular is growing on his coach.

“He’s tough. He’s tough, he’s a winner, he’s come from a winning college program, he’s smart, he’s one of our high IQ guys,” Casey said. “I trust him, I totally trust him. He knows what every position on the floor should be doing. This is his second year? He’s earned it.”

If Casey ever did look out and see the 6-foot VanVleet and wonder if that might be a hindrance going forward, he doesn’t anymore.

“I don’t how much bigger he is than Kyle, a little bit,” Casey said. “They’re the same size but you can’t judge his heart. He and Kyle’s hearts are huge and I’ll take that any day. Guy’s got a high motor, a toughness, intelligence. I don’t’ think it’s hurt us yet.”
