I've noticed that too. And they are signs too, not some sort of digital computer logo, meaning they actually meant to put our decoration there.

Things like that, his complete giving to someone that GREGG knows loves Shocker basketball, his understanding of the passion of the fans and his love and desire to share those experiences, magnified when it's someone perhaps less fortunate, his drive to be successful and demand excellence and hold them accountable with expectations.

I don't care who doesn't like him. They don't know him. Is he arrogant? He freaking great at what he does. if I was HALF as good at ANYTHING as he is at being a coach, I'd be unbearably arrogant. He's an incredible giving person, he's done more for our University and this city than just about any human and he's a perfect fit and belongs here as long as he coaches.

I'm fully cognizant of the resources it takes to pay his massive and 100% deserving salary and who in this city is capable of funding it.

DOUBLE IT. NOW. Make it impossible for anyone to come get him. I don't care what you pay him. Right now he's even more valuable than that.
Marshall is worth more in public relations and advertising for the city of Wichita than the the salary he draws. The City could not possibly buy the positive image Marshall has given the city for $3.5 Mill a year. Every time Marshall and the basketball team is mentioned in the national press, the city is also mentioned.

Marshall is also worth his salary for the advertising and public relations he provides for the University. There will always be some who complain about the money he makes. I would challenge those people to find any other way to get the city and the university as much national publicity, in such a positive way, for twice what he's paid.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

        • When Gregg gets us a national championship, that will help put him over 10 figures in value he's given to the city of Wichita and Wichita State.

            • "NCAA Tournament 2017: What is Selection Sunday?" - SB*Nation

"It’s that time of year again, college basketball fans. March Madness is nearing closer and closer. But before the tournament commences, fans must know which teams will compete. That’s where Selection Sunday comes in.

Selection Sunday determines which teams will enter the tournament. Only 68 teams can compete to take home college basketball’s richest prize: the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. By the time Selection Sunday arrives, conference championships will be over, and the selection committee will decide who will compete and who will have to look forward to next year.

This has been an exciting season for college hoops. Teams like Wichita State (30-4, 17-1), Villanova (30-3, 15-3), and Kansas (28-4, 16-2) have been clicking on all cylinders. All three teams have a legitimate shot at taking home the championship...."

I liked the other video they promoted in the middle of the video you posted in which they discussed our chances to make the F4.

"5. Wichita State Keeps Its Dancing Shoes On For Another Year

The Shockers have become a perennial mid-major power in the last several years, and you’re probably used to hearing the Shockers name called on Selection Sunday. They’ve made six straight tournament appearances and have been as high as a 1-seed back in the 2014 tourney. This year, you’re going to see some new faces on the court for Gregg Marshall’s team. Guards Ron Baker and Fred Van Vleet, who have seemingly been playing college basketball for the last 10 years, are now gone, graduated to the NBA. But, that doesn’t mean that this Shockers team is any less difficult to beat.

The Shockers rank as the ninth-best team in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings, posting top 20-marks in both offensive and defensive efficiency (11th and 19th respectively). The names to know? Freshman guard Landry Shamet, sophomore forward Markis McDuffie and junior forward Darral Willis Jr. combine to average 33.1 points, 13.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. This team is talented. They’ll likely be slotted into a lower seed than they should be because of their weaker non-conference/conference schedule, but they could do some damage in the tournament. You’ve been warned."

How weak would our non-conference schedule be if we were in a P5 conference? Wow they really twist everything.

                      • The 2017 NCAA tournament bracket reveal is less than 36 hours away, and when CBS begins taking viewers through the field of 68 on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET, nerves will be on edge. The following is a list of six teams that almost every NCAA tournament team should be hoping to avoid when the bracket is unveiled on Sunday evening. Duke always had the pieces to be a title contender, if not a title favorite, and those pieces have clicked into place, first in early February, and now once and for all in the ACC tournament. Luke Kennard looks like a superstar capable of shooting a team through an entire region.
