Thanks, Shurtz -- And of course, now the #8 Shocks in KenPom that the committee so woefully underseeded are up to the woefully underseeded #5 Shocks in KenPom (although, to be fair, you can throw a large blanket over KenPom's #4 (Kentucky at 26.68 in adjusted margin) through #10 (Virginia at 26.06, both as of this writing), with less than two thirds of one point separating them.

Glad Marshall is ripping the committee at every opportunity and helping keep up the pressure for better seeding guidelines in the future.

Yep, no way we can compete with Kentucky when we play almost exactly to our KenPom expectations like we did against Dayton. Even though doing just that would give us a 49% chance to win against UK. These idiots need to realize Dayton is solid and Kentucky isn't 1991 UNLV.

Yep our defense, second half especially, was incredible. Some of the best we've seen from this group all year I think. If we get a little more daylight on offense it would help.

Anybody else notice the way Marshall held Archie Miller intimately but in a way that wasn't weird? Just as James Corden predicted?

Has anyone seen the video from Sunday where Coach Marshall invited the fan (sits on the floor behind the bench for years, Eagle did an article on him last year I think. I should know his name but I can't grasp it EDIT pretty sure it's Darren Thomas) down to the floor, picked him up and lifted him over the railing, and then walked with him to the lockerroom where he had his picture taken with the trophy?

Things like that, his complete giving to someone that GREGG knows loves Shocker basketball, his understanding of the passion of the fans and his love and desire to share those experiences, magnified when it's someone perhaps less fortunate, his drive to be successful and demand excellence and hold them accountable with expectations.

I don't care who doesn't like him. They don't know him. Is he arrogant? He freaking great at what he does. if I was HALF as good at ANYTHING as he is at being a coach, I'd be unbearably arrogant. He's an incredible giving person, he's done more for our University and this city than just about any human and he's a perfect fit and belongs here as long as he coaches.

I'm fully cognizant of the resources it takes to pay his massive and 100% deserving salary and who in this city is capable of funding it.

DOUBLE IT. NOW. Make it impossible for anyone to come get him. I don't care what you pay him. Right now he's even more valuable than that.
