To be honest, this would probably upset me less.

At least a bunch of teams wouldn't have spent 4 months proving beyond doubt that they didn't belong.

      • Jay Williams is starting to piss me off. Just saw him take a subtle jab at Gonzaga and he's already done it to us.

What'd he say? In the past he's been pretty complimentary of WSU, just curious if that's changed.

          • Joey brackets still says Syracuse is in. They are going to be one of the more contraversal teams. All those big home wins and all those losses away from home 2-11 and 3 bad losses and bad non conf SOS.
2014 RTS Fantasy Championship National Champion $200,000 (2460 teams)

            2015 RTS Fantasy Championship 2nd Place $25,000 (3120 teams)

2015 NCAA Bracketology (351 pts more than all 136 at the bracket matrix)

the same reputation/tradition/track record that is keeping them in, is not supposed to help us

The team has an 85 RPI.

                85.

                85.

That's 15 away from 100. They should be closer to the NIT bubble than the NCAA bubble. Couldn't even win ONE ACC Tourney game against a team seeded worse than them.

If Syracuse gets in, I may seriously have to start reconsidering about how much I invest into this sport.

                ... No really, deuces.

                • When your argument revolves entirely around record vs. Top 50.....

and your team does not qualify for inclusion in that record for their opponents...

you, sir, might be an idiot.

I remember him doing the same last year. Posted this in the Bracketology thread the other night, but he was super condescending to Lunardi for having Illinois St in over....IOWA! Although Lunardi owned him pretty good.

It's ridiculous. They have TWO wins away from Carrier Dome and an 85 RPI. If that's not proof of a rigged system...

That is pretty much why I stopped posting. I do want to wish the team good luck in the tourney. GO SHOX! :loyal:

                        • Clearly, Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Clemson should have played
themselves out of consideration already. Should be a few others
that do the next few days. With and RPI in the low to mid 30's
one would think that the Redbirds are going to get in. Want to
see their defensive team matched up against an unsuspecting P5
                          team.

                          • I previously thought that ISUr wasn't getting in and didn't really have too much of a gripe about getting left out. I've moved towards thinking ISUr isn't getting in but they're going to have a legitimate gripe when they don't. I think there's still a few teams left to play that could open up a spot for them.

                            • The problem with Illinois State is they have only 2 top 100 wins and 2 losses outside top 100 and 1 of them is outside top 200 with non conf SOS of 148 and a SOS of 124. I would like to see them make it just because they are from a non power conf but I don't think it is happening. The reason you guys would have likely got in even though ur resume was similar was you had 0 losses outside the top 50 RPI and your kenpom rating was around 10. Those are 2 things Illinois State does not have.

I don't see why anyone who is a KU fan would be worried about playing us. We're NOT going to get an 8/9 seed in Tulsa when KU is possibly the #1 or #2 overall seed. They're just not going to give Wichita State home court advantage against NCAA darling Kansas. So the earliest we'd play KU is in the FF. And by then who really cares who you play?

If KU fans are "s****ing their collective pants" on facing WSU like you say, then they're actually giving our team a fantastic compliment due to already placing us in the Final Four.
