Sacramento seems pretty smitten with FVV - he has worked out for them 4 times now I believe. That bodes well since they hold the 59th pick and he is slotted right around there.

I'd like to see Ron in Dallas, Boston or Utah.




But frankly I will be beyond thrilled if both of these young men get drafted next week, regardless of destination. The draft is ho-hum to me most years but I had a blast watching Cle get selected a few years ago and am really looking forward to Thursday night.

I had forgotten about Sacramento. They are another team that could definitely use point guard help. I completely agree about them both getting drafted. Even if they don't, I'll be looking forward to watching the Summer Leagues. I'm sure they will both be there making an impression, and probably Tekele as well.

I could be wrong but I believe Fred attended the 4th workout hosted by the Kings not the 4th time Fred has worked out for the Kings.

Ron Baker, PG, Wichita State: Baker is a terrific shooter with deep range. Questions about his size for a shooting guard, and his athleticism, are the only things that might make him go undafted.

Fred VanVleet, PG, Wichita State: VanVleet is a small guard with limited size. But he really knows how to run a team and could easily become a backup point guard.
