Thanks and respect to the folks in Stillwater. Hope these are great games.
    All kidding aside, I agree.

The ONLY good memory of the 90's (if J. Arnold would have stayed) was the epic victories over Bama & The Pokes (both ranked) in the same season.

Nevada State Champions last season. Why not Oklahoma State Champions this season?

      • the weak spot on the "Away" part of the schedule is the game in the MVC/MWC challenge. How we got paired up with Colo. St. is unfathomable. rpi of 171 last year. Somehow winning the Valley gets us the 7th place team in the MWC - on the road.

We've been buying games against better teams.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

            • Let's just say that Wichita State is in North Oklahoma. Seems that way looking at the schedule.

It's ridiculous on the part of ku/ksu.. I'm not trying to change the topic, but i've stated before that the typical fan of either sister school chooses to ignore wsu unless they have something negative to say and I think it's safe to say that terrible attitude has long sense taken over amoungst the people that run the show at ku/ksu.
And now it's gotten to a point where 3 Oklahoma schools are scheduling wsu. 2 of which are coached by K-Staters. The national media and the selection committee have also beaten the issue to death and as a result we have a blowout victory over ku in the ncaa tournament. Lol.
I really wonder what else can happen the longer this issues goes on.

                  1) We no longer needed to play KU/KSU to be relevant nationally.

                  2) Now, with such games as OU/OSU, we no longer need to play KU/KSU to be relevant regionally.

                  3) We've beaten KU on the national stage and no longer need to play them because of this and #1 and 2.

                  4) I'd thumb my nose at playing K St because of #1, 2, and 3 and that they were the ones that let that window of opportunity pass.

It's not the fans, but rather the AD and coaches.
Besides, WSU doesn't need either team. To use KU/KSU logic: At this point WSU has nothing to gain by playing KSU.

                    • Just my opinion,

KSU is irrelevant and we have a KU scalp hanging in our den. If they want it back, they know where we are. Until then.

                          • That would be a PHENOMENAL buy game if true.

Our staff is becoming scary good at building an impressive OOC slate.

KU's lucky they were able to get a good buy game since The Beach were already going to be in Kansas.

LBSU has been around 100-150 in KenPom the last 4 years, and were 32 in 2012. Not sure what they have coming back for next year, but that certainly seems like a decent 'buy' game. If we can continue getting teams like this, I'd like to see us drop the DII regular season game.
