For those who have the ability to attend, here is a chance to win an all-expenses paid for two, to the Battle 4 Atlantis event this year.

then go to the Budurl.me/B4ASweeps link on facebook and fill out the requested information. I would give the direct link, but I couldn't get it to work correctly.

Don't we have Nevada next year as well? I thought that was a multi year series.

Is there a reason Marshall has played Barclay Radebaugh but no one else? A buy game with Army would be solid. Home-and-homes with College of Charleston or East Tennesee State wouldn't be awful.

I would go for someone like:

              Gonzaga, West Coast 22-7 (15-3)
              Butler, Big East 22-11 (10-8)
              Colorado, Pac 12 21-12 (10-8)

Now if Gonzaga, Butler, or Colorado are not able/willing to schedule a home/home series that starts here next year, I would go with maybe a team in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). If we have any real thoughts about joining the AAC, maybe a few games scheduled with them (like Tulsa) is the right approach. I would look at the following possible teams:

              SMU, American Athletic 25-5 (13-5)
              Connecticut, American Athletic 25-11 (11-7)
              Memphis, American Athletic 19-15 (8-10)
              Cincinnati, American Athletic 22-11 (12-6)
              Houston, American Athletic 22-11 (12-6)

Would WSU even have a chance with the above or are they even possible?

UConn has been mentioned as a possibility in the past. It seems like Creighton will happen at some point.

"Hinson vows to up SIU's schedule strength in 2016-17" - by Todd Hefferman of The Southern

"With four potential starters back in 2016-17, SIU men's basketball coach Barry Hinson vowed to play a schedule better suited for that type of experience next winter. ..."

We will see if it really happens, but SIU's strength of schedule in the non-conference ranked 325th out of 351 teams so it should go up. Three other teams in the league were south of 250: Loyola (305), Drake (291) and Evansville (262).

UConn would be a great get. Creighton wont happen 2016-17 - "Boatright said the coaching staffs talked about playing in 2016-17. Both teams need series to start at home next season, so that won’t happen. But 2017-18 and beyond are on the table."

I honestly expect Evansville, given their history and the likelihood they will be down, to schedule the #351st best non-conference schedule next year. A schedule ripe with about 5 SWAC schools, at least 2 of Depauw, Earlham and Wabash, and a couple of multi-directional Valley similar teams such as Upper Iowa or SIU -Edwardsville.

I thought I remembered this as well but the pregame writeup on GoShockers.com mentions that it was a one game contract.

If the cretin series happens and its a home and home the bj's on the cafe will all just wet themselves in their delusional state. That should really be funny. But then I am kind of sick.

Make a call to Frank Martin. You know he is looking for good opponents. He will never schedule like he did last year I don't think.

As a major program now, Creighton only schedules big time H-H's these days, like the OU series they just finished up. Someday hopefully we'll get to that point.*

                              * = next year
