Someone referenced stats earlier, RK vs. Kadeem & Chadrack (I'll exclude Cle). The only conclusion drawn is that they were more efficient performers than RK. I'm hoping RK can get to their level eventually. I believe by his senior year he can.

I think comparing current players performances compared to the performance of the final four team members isn't exactly fair. Let's face it, Armstead, Early and Co. Made teams spread out. Shooting the absolute horrid percentage from outside this year allowed teams to collapse and double team alot easier. RK plays a position that was easily doubled.
The three headed monster was really good. But that bunch on the outside was really special.
Thus comparison is just about an apples to oranges discussion.

Your point is likely still valid though, its not so far out of bounds from the other 3 in that comparison.

They also had about 4 inches and some pounds on him, so it's really not a great comparison.
My point was those two guys were efficiently modest i.e. consistent.
Again, I believe he can get there to performing at a modest level. Just hit the bunnies.

Villanova would have been a very, very tough task. We would have had to play much better on offense to beat them. I think it's fairly safe to say we wouldn't have lost by 40. I also think we would have given them a better game than Miami. No offense to Miami, they were a very good team. We made their defense look much better than it was though.
I still wonder how we went from top 25 offensive efficiency in January to 94 at the end of the year.

Probably a good point, Heinro -- but they wouldn't have done that to Duke or any of a number of other big name P5 teams; for those guys the NCAA pays attention to TV times and slots. For WSU, they just put them in someplace and let the chips fall where they may. The Dayton-Providence swing was poor logistics, though, and WSU deserved better.

Never mind we were one shot away from the National Finals less than 12 months earlier. It was almost like a lot of people forgot, or disregarded that fact. It was mondo bizarro to say the least.

Not sure if this has been brought up, but I wish the NCAA would take the 4 worst resumes of the 68 teams and put them in Dayton, regardless of auto qualifiers or at-large. This would weed out 2 weak teams and send the 2 winners to play a 1 seed the first weekend.
