  • Looks like the Pac 12 will remain with only 1 win (Utah) if VCU can hang on

For those looking to go into a career in sports, this is real world training.

Now, members of the media acting like jerks? Yeah, that's bad. However, in terms of the pure obligation for student athletes to answer questions (assuming they are respectful questions), I see no problem.
I agree. This is valuable experience for the student athletes and just part of their earning their scholarships. IMO the content of the question to Taurean Prince was not disrespectful but the manner in which it was delivered left a lot to be desired especially considering the circumstances. The question could easily have been asked in a manner that would not have elicited a sarcastic response.

It is interesting that all the attention on this matter is being directed at Taurean Prince and very little toward the reporter who asked the question other then the consensus that the reporter got pwned. In fact, I would guess the great majority have no idea of the identity of the questioner. From what I can find it was Jim Donaldson, a sports columnist with the Providence Journal.

              Related to Bob Lutz perhaps?

                  • Damn you Cal back to 8. Just needed another stop there from Hawaii and would have been in great shape. Odds have gone from 17% chance for Hawaii to win this to 84% chance as of now.

Although, I have only missed 2 games in my office pool and am in the lead, but I have Michigan St. as my winner :(
