  • This is why teams like Monmouth and Valpo deserve bids just like you guys deserved a bid. Imagine the tourney without you guys in it. Monmouth and Valpo could be making runs like you guys, Yale and Hawaii potentially too. This crap where the power 5s get all the bids with their 9-9 conf records and 12-13 losses overall is poppycock.

        • Middle Tenn was 59% to win when they were up 60-51 this is amazing. I still doubt they win but it would be one of the biggest upsets ever seeing is how Michigan State was picked by many to win it all.

          • Bottom of south looking tougher then top, KU looking to be avoiding higher seeds again.

No doubt. They had all the momentum you could ask for going into this game. Plus, all that goes along with an Izzo team. Crazy they could be out day one.

Seems like Charles Barkley is always wrong when it comes to college basketball. I believe he said he thought the PAC-12 was underrated and would have an outstanding tournament. I love him, but his college basketball prognostication is turrible.

                        In 2014...
12 seed and 13 loss NC State won a game.
11 seed and 12 loss Tennessee went to the Elite 8.
10 seed and 12 loss Stanford went to the Sweet 16.
8 seed and 10 loss Kentucky went to the National Championship game.

                        In 2015...
11 seed and 12 loss Ole Miss won a game.
11 seed and 13 loss UCLA went to the Sweet 16.
10 seed and 10 loss Ohio St won a game.
8 seed and 13 loss NC State went to the Sweet 16.
7 seed and 11 loss Michigan St went to the Final 4.

                        This year...
10 seed and 13 loss Syracuse has moved on to the round of 32 and is still dancing.

I'm sympathetic to arguments to include more mid-majors, but please stop with the stupid "these 2-3 games show why more mids should get in rather than BCS schools". You are cherry picking stats in the worst way.

Meh. If Maryland wins two (not necessarily a given but certainly possible), then I don't see that KU got breaks with that. UConn could be a tough out, and Maryland is certainly capable as well. That's not to say that KU won't race to the Elite 8, but UConn and Maryland probably wouldn't be cakewalks.
