Couple advantages for Arizona. First, their whole team/coaches got to relax last night and watch
us with every one of their players able to closely watch who they would be playing against. Second,
after a tough game our guys have to sleep on a plane with interruptions. FVV and Ron both had
decent games last night but far from their best offensively. Got to hit some three's. ZB has to play
a great defensive game and RK needs to power dunk the ball instead of laying it up easily and getting it
blocked. Oh, and more CF shots. Another tough game. Staying positive so 66-63 good guys.

Shox win any game against anyone if they shoot 40% from 3, period.
Shox beat anyone except elite opponents playing at the top of their game if they shoot 35% from 3. (37% last night + mediocre Vandy not even playing their best = 20 point win)
Shox play nailbiters shooting 30-35% from 3.
Shox lose from here on out shooting below 30% from 3.

The defense is as reliable as the sun rising in the east. Hit shots, win. Throw up bricks, lose. It is nearly that simple now.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting a 40%+ night from 3 and a win over Zona by 10. Last night's shooting was better, but the Shox are due to finally find a goal without a lid. Last night wasn't it. Maybe such a goal exists in Rhode Island.

One factor, and I don't know if this was discussed in other threads, but that gym was about 85 degrees last night. It was draining, even as a fan. Couple that with not arriving in Providence until 5am.....I hope the boys get a good full day of rest today.

Well, in his defense, when you're Creighton and you subscribe to the James Harden School of defense, that correlation can become unhinged.

The point is that the defense is utterly consistant. Even in the losses, the problem wasn't getting stops, it was scoring.
