Joey brackets must be sniffing glue. Kentucky loses to Vandy and moves up from a 4 to a 3 seed. Even I will say Kentucky is not a 3 seed right now. 4 seed at best and that is questionable.

I never once said that I thought we would get a 12-14 seed. I think our range is probably 6-11 with us more than likely winding up on the 7-8 line. I was merely saying that I would rather be a 12 seed and theoretically have to play a 5 seed, 4 seed, then the 1 seed instead of being an 8 seed and have to play a 9 seed, then a 1 seed.

I believe WSU is a top 10 team. Being in a situation where you don't have to play another top 10 team till later seems like a pretty logical idea to me. Especially when all it takes is 1 bad night for the whole season to come to an end...

Had we dropped another game or two this season you would be hoping and praying just to get in.

1.) What two other games do we drop? Kinda hard to say when most of our wins are laughers.
2.) We aren't an Atlantic Sun level team. We would have to go 16-14 or something like that to garner a 14 seed. Now, how realistic is that line of thinking?

Possibly someone else already posted this -- I haven't gone all the way through to see -- but now up to #7 overall in KenPom despite a slight drop in rating (to .9178, vs. ineligible #8 Louisville's .9160, #9 Kentucky's .9145, and #10 WVU's .9138).

No wonder Palm doesn't want to look at stuff like this. He says it might "cloud" his thinking, but he means it might "cause him to question" his thinking -- or maybe more precisely, might "cause him to question IF" he's thinking.

Lunardi's S-Curve on Saturday morning was:
#12 Iowa
#13 Kentucky
#14 Duke

All 3 teams lost over the weekend. Iowa's loss was the worst of the 3, so apparently Kentucky emerged as the highest ranked team in this group by simply falling the least. Lunardi didn't think anyone #15 or below deserved a bump all the way to #12, thus Kentucky became the new #12. 30 games into the season, most teams aren't moving around dramatically based on one single additional data point.

Come on Henry. If you've done half as many brackets as you claim, this stuff isn't that hard to figure out. It's not just about your team's single performance. It is about all the other games going on too.
