This year in CBB is sooo crazy; I think any team that gets hot/gels/comes together/(insert your favorite term) around tourney time can win it all this year. It's why I still believe we can make the FF even with our losses; no one is so invincible as to be a shoo in. But, first thing is to GET IN.

I just have a strange feeling that the "crazy season" will be used to push more sub .500 Power 5 teams in the tourney due to 1 win over a top team rather than actually help us.

That's actually true. Some places have freaking Texas Tech in the tournament. They're a much worse team than us, and even a few other Valley teams, but since they've beaten a few solid teams people think they're good.

Honestly if a sub-.500 Big 12/ACC/SEC team gets in above us when it's all said and done, I'll be breaking a few things.

There will definitely be at least one seeded above us .. You can guarantee that.

Texas Tech is not a bad team at all. They went 10-1 in a non con where they actually played some decent teams. Overall non con SOS of 44, so they stayed away from the non-con cupcakes that some BCS teams go for.

If they go 8-10 and win 1 in the Big 12 Tourney, I think they deserve to be in at 19-13 overall.

This isn't about Texas Tech vs WSU. Nearly everyone on this board, myself included, thinks WSU is better.

I'm merely saying WSU is a step inside the bubble and Tech deserves to be right around the bubble.

The win @ Baylor does count.

That's a win-win situation for them. Even if they lose by 20 there ... it doesn't affect seeding or anything (see KU as an example)

Now just to be clear, a win at Oklahoma State wouldn't solidly any at-large hopes because that's a crap opponent but a loss could put them in jeopardy?

My next question is what is their home to road ratio in the non-con? I don't trust teams who pile up a bunch of decent wins at home.
