Wichita State has an incredibly tough profile to figure out this year on what the NCAA committee will do. There is just no way to know how they will treat the games missed for injury because of the last couple losses. Just win the conference tournament and hope you get an 11 seed then make another run to the final four. Just don't be in Kentucky's or Xavier's region so I can root for you to get to the Final 4.

I just don't want an 8 or 9 seed. I know it worked out a few years ago, but typically that is not a place you want to be. Get to the second weekend and hope you catch fire. Also, Jerry Palm is a idiot. VanVleets absence shouldn't be factored in because he was present for 2 "bad" loses months later? So, basically once VanVleet was back in the lineup he had to run the table in order for the committee to consider his absence a mitigating circumstance for losing those games? Seems legit...“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”

We have a lot of work to do, but the fact that the door to a 6 seed is still open is really encouraging. If we win out and are slotted on that line, I will almost certainly be a very happy Shockers fan on Selection Sunday.

I really want to see Maryland or UNC in the round of 32. I don't fear either of those team. Actually, not really afraid of OU or UNC at this point. KU would scare me only because they would want serious 'payback' for 78-65.
