If the statistically-inclined on SN are to be believed, then 2015 seeding is to be considered an anomaly.

If the committee gives WSU an 8/9 seed after they roll through the Valley, then they lied when they said they would re-evaluate WSU's losses without FVV (and other injuries).

If WSU wins out, they should be looking for a 3/4 seed.

I agree with you. I'm guessing whoever said it wasn't privy to the "evaluation with FVV" conversation that was had earlier (by ESPN's Andy Katz). I see our ceiling around the 4/5 range. One of those two or a 3 is perfect. EDIT: Honestly I would love anywhere from 3-6. Higher chance of upsets in the first round would weaken our second round opponent.

Our resume sucks this year. It's because Fred was injured, but it still sucks. I really think anything from 3-9 will be on the table, even if we win out. I'll be hoping for a 3 or 6 but I won't be stunned it's higher. If KU manages to con themselves into a 1 seed I will take that 8/9 all day, just keep us the hell away from OU.

Harder than normal to project us this year since we have such an oddball resume. I am hopeful that if we take care of business we will be either a 3 or 4 seed, but a 5 or 6 seed would not surprise me.

Anything worse than that and I will be really fired up.

Over Oregon in Spokane then KU; Iowa St. in Denver then Xavier; or Michigan St. in St. Louis then Texas A&M? I know I already addressed this above, but I completely disagree with you. Nothing at all I like about this bracket besides being back in the 3/6 conversation.

Wichita State is going to be one of the toughest teams to figure out what the committee will seed them this year based on the injury the lack of quality wins and how assuming they keep winning to end the year.

Last year I got 45 teams seeded exactly right and 63 of 66 teams I correctly picked within 1 seed line. 1 of the 3 I missed on last year was Wichita State I had you guys as a 5 seed (#18 overall).

Last year you were 27-4 (17-1) RPI of 17, SS 99, NC SS 48, 2-2 vs top 50 RPI, 5-2 vs 51-100, 20-0 vs 101+ RPI but you did lose in your conf tournament which is 1 of the reasons I bet you got knocked down to the 7 seed.

Utah is going to be the only top 50 RPI win this year. NC SS is great at 5 this year. Certainly going to be interesting this year. I am not going to venture a guess right now because I really only do my seeding of teams in the final few days before the bracket.

I'm the same way avoid the 4-5 seed. But this year is different the top seeds are interchangeable 1 could be a 2 and 2 could be a 1. I see a 6-7 seed for us.

I think so. Gonna be a 1-8 or 2-7 or maybe a 3-6 matchup w KU in 2nd game. Book it.

I think they go a diffrent route this year... I think WSU will be matched with a Maryland type team in the second round. I would LOVE to see WSU play Maryland. Fred would go the freak off on those dudes.
Honestly, I'd love a shot at OU. That would be an amazing offense vs defense matchup and OU has no bench. Shox could beat them.

WSU was underseeded last year to fulfill.. let's just say... geographic purposes.
