Is there some secret hand signal that SNers use to identify each other? I have yet to meet one of you in STL.

As usual, RefChick and I will pull into STL about 4:00 on Thursday.

Staying in Collinsville, much better hotel rate and no parking charge. The hotel parking charges in downtown STL are obscene.

Prefer to stay in the Peartree, but it was sold out. It is a preferred STL home for Shocker fans and we will miss having breakfast with them.

Will catch up with the Doc and others upon your arrival. Travel safe!

          That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

Just walk around talking loudly about how every team there isn't worthy to deliver towels to the '91 UNLV team while carrying a extra large wiener while pointing out the cracked concrete must be where Evan dropped his shirt while ... [insert your favorite inside shockernet knowledge]

Please remember to obey any "no contact orders" you may have regarding former players during your stay.

Received tickets today. Once again disappointed where the ticket office put us. Yes, I understand the points system and I know where I stand. However, I believe the way the ticket office places people is wrong. Disregarding sections 102 and 101, which are more courtside, we have sections 126 around 120 going around one of the corners across the baseline. I believe the office starts in 126, closest to being courtside, fills it to the top by points, goes to the bottom of 125, fills it, etc, etc... So the guy at the bottom of 124 may have fewer points than the guy in nosebleed 125. It's probably a paradigm from when times were bad and many fewer Shockers made the trip. Wouldn't it make more sense to fill the lower seats all the way from 126 to 120 and move up from there. I would much rather be on the end of the court 10 rows up than on the corner 30 rows up.

If I'm wrong about their methodology, I apologize. If I am all wet because I believe most people would rather be closer to the court, I apologize. We like to order through the ticket office so we can sit with Shocker fans. In the future we might as well, as some of you have, purchase tickets from the other schools. Can't get treated any worse.

                    • Got our tix today, as well . . . I knew buying 50 volleyball season tickets would pay off - Section 124, Row A.
Hate to ask based on the other posts - but, is Row A of that section blocked by standing students below or is it up a bit higher?

Getting excited. Pogo - are you up for Italian? The real Rixtoy wants to know.
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

                          Splash,
We don't sit with WSU fans anymore.
Did a couple of times, always ended up in close proximity to drunken idiots who start screaming obscenities before the National Anthem.
The location of the seats sucked, due to the quantity of Shocker fans who flood STL.

However, it hasn't always been this way.

In the late 90's, there was minimal WSU coverage. It was all Creighton and either SWMO or SIU maroon all over the arena. Also a lot of ISU red in the early 2000's.

                          Things have certainly changed.

                          That is all.

That has become my philosophy as well. Although I might have annoyed you when there were less than 100 WSU fans at the games.

This hasn't been my experience. I don't always sit with Shocker fans but when I have, I haven't had this problem. I hope you enjoy sitting with ISUR or whoever fans.
