  • By the way, good game by Morris and Grady. Glad to see our post play step up on offense.

Baker had a good, almost great second half. VanVleet just doing his thang.

Kudos to the good guys for keeping their composure. Shaq was getting molested by the big white kid prior to the head butt (which I think was sneaky intentional). Oliver for UN was very athletic, but went into street ball more as soon as we blew open the lead in the second half. His build, skills, and game remind me of Darral Willis. Nevada will be good in the future when they get the MVC players eligible.

It's good to win even though the last 10 minutes was unwatchable.

No it was after the pass. For some reason or other they reengaged near midcourt after that and seemed not as cordial.

Have no idea what it was about

With the MVC players, they should play Big 12 teams for a better chance to win than here.

        • Brown was solid tonight. MM played unselfish and is an asset for us for sure.

I don't think Taylor suited up tonight. Anybody know why?

Shoulder injury. BWam was out with a back injury.

Yes because now the slow burn of the rare home loss to them years ago is some needed reckoning. We have beaten them 2 out of 3 now overall.

                • A lot of MVC forum fans are going to be in for a very rude awakening in conference play. Nevada beat Drake and Drake isn't THAT much worse (or better) than 5-6 Valley schools. Fans of those schools who think we look very "beatable" are going to experience a nice butt whooping.

                  • Good to see the offense get back in rythem and we were passing the ball without the careless turnovers. Ron got untracked 2nd half and our post presence with Shaq and Anton was good to see, and needs to be a consistent force for the rest of the season. Fred was more like Fred and Evan had a solid game, looked good on his shot and "hey" he got to the free throw line. All in all a solid win before Christmas break and something to build on. We got everybody healthy finally, I feel a streak coming on.

Our practices are a war so we will have some injuries along the way. Hope they both return soon and this allowed Hamilton some decent minutes. Soon, I hope we are all well, healthy, and taking the script that we dream of that is still attainable, and making the very best of this Season of adversity.

Hope to see more Grady and Shaq in at the same time in the near future. The beauty of this is we have lots of rotation possibilities to get the most ROI on our total minutes played.

                        • I forgot WamBam was out with back issues. Hope for a speedy recovery.

                          • It's ugly when the other team shoots a disproportionate number of free throws it's ugly we we do as well. Having said that, Nevada just got ridiculous the second half. They acted like they just didn't care. Ugly.

I thought the offense looked a smooth in the first half as we've seen this year. Lot of in and out action opened up people for good looks. Fred still having trouble finishing. Ron being a little too cavalier with the ball. Shaq not fouling was good. Anton looking like he's getting back to form. Conner seems still uncertain when to let fly. It's not on a 3 on 1 without even looking inside. Glad Eric got action. Too bad TT not in uni.

It's a win that I will gladly take but it turned into a very ugly game.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

                            • Shaq is a very under rated high post passer. Two nice assists tonight. Good job big man.

                              • Against Seton Hall, Shaq played very well for maybe 10 minutes. Tonight, he may have doubled that or more. He was very good tonight.
