This loss didn't end WSU at-large chances regardless of what they are saying - it just decreased the margin of error. WSU margin still remains 7 or 8 losses pending how the MVC finishes out Non-conference season.

With 6 of the Valley's ten teams under .500, a good record alone is not going to get WSU in as an at large. It is a St. Louis win or bust. We will get no credit for taking a very weak MVC regular season crown.

Did this actually end up as a true statement? Don't have the game DVR-ed, and my memory is failing me, but it has got to be very close. Would love to see a breakdown of the OT segment as it pertains to the FG/FT breakdown for each team.

11-16 FT and 1 layup. 2 or 3 offensive fouls didn't result in FTs. One on Grady where yes, he clearly hooked the SH defensive player, AFTER he got 2 hands in the back on the catch and then again on the first dribble.

WSU at-large chances are not over.

1. They need to win their next 2 non-conference
2. They need win the MVC regular season
3. They need to dominate the MVC with a minimum of 15-3 record, but 16-2 would be better
4. They will probably need to get to the final in the MVC.

Now if you don't think that can happen, then you might as well go watch KU or something for the rest of the season
