No. Brando was frustrating calling this a "turning event" for SH. They are really talented and young, and have a ton of potential, but they're WAY too undisciplined to be consistently good.

With 6 of the Valley's ten teams under .500, a good record alone is not going to get WSU in as an at large. It is a St. Louis win or bust. We will get no credit for taking a very weak MVC regular season crown.

Well WSU had a 13 point lead late in half one and then the refs changed the way they were calling the game and, lets be honest, bad play by FVV cost us this game.

If the refs changed the way they were calling the game, then it looks like the Shocks weren't able to adjust like Seton Hall was.

Turnovers and free throws are what killed us. We had good perimeter ball movement and that's why we had so many good looks on our threes. We shot a good percentage from deep. We just forced it in the paint trying to draw fouls that weren't called. Fred had a bad second half in some of his decision making, Ron also. Wasn't coaching, just some bad play at critical times and SetonHall played a tough physical game. Season has a long way to go, tough lost, game we should have won. Chalk this up as a quality loss, Hall will be ranked come next week.

That was a very exciting and entertaining game to watch, both sides played very hard. With that being said I feel like this is not fair to put on the refs. Seton Hall played very aggressive and I think just out hustled Wichita for rebounds and other loose balls in the end. There were questionable calls both ways, the refs were not letting them play, there was one point the officials called three fouls on SHU in a minute. I would really enjoy to keep playing you guys, an exciting team to play. Good luck with the rest of your season!

Yes, and they'll be about the same at the end. Maybe a SHADE better.

Started 9-2 (9-2 now as well) and finished losing 9 of 10. 16-15 overall. Poorly coached, poorly disciplined. Run their mouths all the time.

Yes.

Take away those 3 fouls on one possession (that I questioned too) and it was even FAR worse. BUT I take nothing away from SH.

They WERE aggressive and played hard. Deserved the win. WSU made too many mistakes, too many turnovers, too many missed FTs to win on the road.

WSU out rebounded them on both ends. Both teams hustled

SHU shot 20 more FTs. That's not a little discrepancy.

Fair play to the Pirates though. They still had to win it and they did.

Tough to think that Whitehead's bank 3 might have been the difference.

1. Shaq played 17 minutes, might be a career high.

2. They pushed us around and took our lunch money.

3. And the cops did nothing about it.

4. Connor's lack of strength and length cost us 3 or 4 times, maybe more.

5. Fred keeps driving, hoping for the foul, and he can't make the free throws.

6. Fred and Ron had 11 of our 21 turnovers.

7. We got out-physicaled. That's rare.

8. Sometimes, when you are getting pushed around, you gotta just smack some mothar****a in the mouth.

9. Kinda screws up my weekend. Maybe karaoke and Coors Light will help.

There is no reason to melt down right now. I'll bet everyone on here that we don't turn the ball over 20 times again this season. Road game. Went to OT. Fred didn't look bad, he just looked bad for Fred. He'll be fine. Grady is back. Conner finding his rhythm.
