There is a lot of over reaction on here. Only one or two people have been extreme toward(actually against) Tyrone Taylor. They are unrealistic because TT is just a freshman. I do think that it was reasonable for someone to think that a redshirt would have helped TT learn the point guard position a couple of weeks ago. He obviously has a lot of talent and appears to be headed toward becoming a very good point guard at some point at WSU. However with the injuries we have endured, a redshirt wouldn't have worked out anyway. He is needed to play in the Advocare Tournament whether he is ready or not. Marshall himself said that he should be playing 6 minutes per game instead of the 20 or so that he has played. Maybe Frankamp won't be ready to play either, which in that case, our hopes for a high tournament finish may be difficult.
Our problems don't stop with our guards and injuries. Now they extend to the front line players who along with injuries, have a player with an attitude problem. I'm still hopeful for this season but this has been a bad week all the way around. The only truly bright spot has been McDuffie and TT may benefit from a lot of playing time this week too. Time will tell how soon he gets it but I think that at some point, he will get it.
