Let me make sure I've got this straight. Texas and Texas Tech are "at large" teams from the mega deep Big 12 and they both just got obliterated by about 30 points by KU and West Virginia this week.
K... got it...
and we're not sure if Valpo, Gonzaga and VCU are gonna get in.Last edited by Dave Stalwart; March 3, 2016, 12:12 AM.

We are #23 in the Coaches Poll and unranked in the AP by 3 slots. The teams around us in the voting are Wisconsin, Seton Hall, St. Joseph's, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Cal and throw in Texas.
Notre Dame, Texas Tech, St. Joseph's, & Seton Hall lost tonight. Texas got shredded at home Monday night.
Cal has road games at #18 Arizona and Arizona State this week. Wisconsin has a road game @#15 Purdue this week.
Not a bad week at all to go ahead and win Arch Madness.

I got another laugh (honestly) just revisiting that. Many thanks again.

Yeah, it seems to devalue the undefeated season to act like postseason results are the end all be all. That team was not the 32nd best team in the country.

Upsets happen all the time In sports. You don't have to be the best team to win championships. You just have to be the best team on a given day. Actually not even that. You just have to be better than the team across from you for 6 consecutive games. No, the best team doesn't always win championships, but I'll take "champion" over "best team" every day. I'm not sure you could say for sure that the undefeated team wasn't the best team in the country, but I'm sure they'd rather be champions."You Don't Have to Play a Perfect Game. Your Best is Good Enough."

LAST NIGHT
St. Joe's @ St. Bonny's* +4 St Bonny's is 20-7 and 12-4 with RPI of 38 and SOS of 88. Beating St. Joe's will help and might put St. Joe's on the bubble ST BONNY'S WON, ST. JOE'S IS PROBABLY ON THE BUBBLE NOW
Davidson @ VCU* -8.5 VCU is 21-8 and 13-3 with RPI of 45 and SOS 89. VCU needs to hold court to stay in bubble talks. VCU WON
Texas Tech* @ West Virginia -9.5 Texas Tech is 18-10 and 8-8 with RPI of 23 and SOS 2. They probably need to win one of two against West Virginia and K State this week to feel safe. TEXAS TECH LOST BY 22, HAVE TO WIN AGAINST K STATE
Seton Hall @ Butler* -5 Butler is 19-9 and 8-8 with RPI of 55 and SOS 90. Need a good win to keep their hopes alive. BUTLER WON, DOES THAT PUT SETON HALL ON THE BUBBLE?

VCU has lost twice to teams with losing records.
Are you sure you want to use those 2 teams as shining examples of never having a bad night?
